School Breakfast and Lunch Information
Yutan Public Schools participates in the USDA National School Lunch Program. The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day. The program was established under the National School Lunch Act, signed by President Harry Truman in 1946.

Lunch Accounts: Please check your child's account balance on a consistent basis. Funds may be deposited on their account by bringing cash or a check to the school office/secretary. All students are charged for seconds and ala carte regardless of free/reduced/full pay status.
Summer Food Service Program
The USDA's Summer Food Service Program operates in more than 200 locations in Nebraska. These sites provide no-cost meals to children aged 1 - 18 years. Find sites approved to provide meals in summer 2025 using the USDA's SFSP Site Finder. The site information will populate the site finder after May 23, 2025
