Each year the 6th grade class completes a technology project based on one area of the curriculum.  This year we chose reading.  Our Yutan Multimedia Marvels's project was based on using words that have power when we write.  The assignment was to write a commercial using three  synonyms for more common words like said, great, happy, etc.

Students wrote the scripts, turned them into screen plays, created backgrounds in PowerPoint, and filmed in front of a green screen to produce their movies.  We hope you enjoy them.

AND REMEMBER "USE MORE DESCRIPTIVE WORDS IN YOUR WRITING".

Lightning Bright Toothpaste - amazing, terrific, excellent

Energy Up Batteries - exclaim, advise, theorize

Khaki Pants Insurance Company - sashay, skedaddle, saunter

Super Shiny Dish Soap -waddle, strut, somnabulate

Rainbow Pop Sucker Candy - glad, delighted, invigorated

H2O Cereal - super duper, amazing, grand

Fresh and Clean Laundry Detergent - bit, dab, dash

Mountain Dude - monstrous, giagantic, giant

The Clumsy Egg Restaurant - dash, scamper, bolt
