Materials needed

I am pleased to be teaching Spanish for my forth year here at Yutan High School.

My first experience with Spanish speakers was in a slaughter house in Gibbon Nebraska after graduating high school.  At the time,I had no desire to learn the language until I encountered real people using Spanish in the middle of the USA (and that was over 10 years ago).  I knew that a basic understanding and use of the language was going to be useful and necessary.  Now I hope to give this excitement to my students in new interactive ways of teaching a World Language.  One of which is TPRS (total physical response storytelling) a favorite of students because it make the words real and alive.

I am also a mother of 5 children 3-13 , married over 15 years to my college sweetheart a science fiction fan.  I moved back to Nebraska from Fort Wayne IN to be closer to family in Kearney NE and to give my children a life style only found here in NE.

Students and parents will find resources for my class and links to useful videos for study.
