Some of us are really struggling with our math facts and spelling words. Please help your child be successful with these. It really doesn't take much time.

Please continue to read with your child and study basic addition and subtraction facts through 20.
Please read with your child for a minimum of 20 minutes per night and log it on the calendar.
Please keep reading with your child and practice those math facts! It Helps!
Please remember to send PE shoes to school that hopefully can be left here.
Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately.
Hopefully the winter weather is about over, but spring rains and MUD will follow. It is always wise to have a change of shoes and pants to leave here (if possible.)
Remember, it is still chilly and coats/jackets will be required. My policy in my room is that the coat or jacket to be worn outside cannot be worn in the classroom. It won't keep them warm if they wear it as an accessory and a piece of outer wear.
P.S. Mrs. Portis wanted me to send a reminder that all students need to bring an old shirt to be left at school for an art shirt.
